COOK AND COOK.....

With so much time at hand,i guess my cooking skill can be retrieved from under all these rubbles of 'busy busy and tired'..well,i used to enjoy cooking eons ago..not that much but i have the skills,unintentionally trained by 2 cooks,my grandma and mum,later on i learned whole-heartedly from my mum-in-law and sis-in-law...

Floating restaurant......for fresh seafood,deliciously cooked,beautiful scenery..eventhough you have to drive through the complicated village road,narrow and lots of  potholes, it is worth it!!
for the kaki pancing,you can try your luck while waiting for your dinner..the floating chalets are available for quiet,calm get-away retreat..fishing haven!

MISS WONG SEEK EYEN

On this day,every year,i will always miss this sweet young woman, miss wong seek eyen, a fresh teacher just got her sijil perguruan from maktab perguruan kota bharu..very eager and enthusiastic..posted to sek.keb.lemal, a small school on the outskirt of pasir mas..she was gentle,soft-spoken but very hardworking,trying all skills she had learned on us,those innocent,ignorant budak kampung,especially in english and maths..she tried her best,but sometimes she lost her patience with us,but the next day she will come with even stronger determination to teach us..she was the reason that i want to be a teacher..to be a catalyst for change,to encourage children to seek for knowledge..

I wish her a happy life as a teacher..maybe she is nearing her retirement age now, if only more teachers are as positive as she was, students' life  will be changed..she ate with us, talked to us, enquiring about our lives at home..she really cared..at least that was how i felt,encouraged by her positive words.,even my teaching method is influenced by hers...Teachers are our second parents...they can shape our way of thinking..and i am glad i was taught by her even for two years..thanks a lot miss wong!!!

Happy Teacher's Day

to all the men and women,who struggle day in and out as teachers,educators and as substitute parents to their students, this is the day that most people will reflect and appreciate what their teachers had done to their lives..
As for me,this is it!after 16 years,now i am resting at home,watching special programmes for teachers on tv...yes,it is not easy being a teacher nowadays..alhamdulillah,i enjoyed my duty...
